Elyzabeth Gorman (Director) is thrilled to be making her Manhattan Shakespeare Project debut. Her world premieres include Caitlin Condy’s See Jane Run (Prospect Theatre Co.); Jennifer Lane’s Does Anyone Know Sarah Paisner? (Intravenous Theatre Co.); and Michael Niederman’s To Barcelona!(Ignited States Production Co.), Every Man (’07 Samuel French Festival Winner), and Don’t Drink and F*ck (Crosstown Playwrights). Other favorite productions include Caitlin Condy’s Little Wing (NY Int’l Fringe Festival); Anthony Clarvoe’s The Living (Stone Soup Theater); and an outdoor production of Shakespeare’s Henry IV in Prospect Park, produced by Rebellious Subjects. She is a proud member of the Lincoln Center Director’s Lab and the Artistic Cabinet of Rebel Theater Co. She is looking forward to directing Fairy Tale of America with EBE Ensemble in April.
Czerton Lim (Set, Props) NYC credits: A Number and Out Cry for National Asian-American Theater Company, Chaosand Medea for Theater Mitu, I Got Fired for NYMF 2010,George the Last for Theater for the New City, Tidings Brought to Mary for Storm Theatre, Bye Bye Birdie for NYU/CAP21, and Playhouse Creatures and Three Sisters for Columbia University. Jessica Lustig (Costumes) recieved her MFA from the University of Washington in 2006. Since then she has traveled the world, worked as a Broadway costume design assistant, and designed several Off and Off-Off Broadway shows primarily with Stone Soup and Storm Theatre. Currently Jessica teaches costume construction and supervises the costume shop at Montclair State University, where she also designs occasionally. She has chosen to keep her design schedule fairly light this Spring in order to focus on teaching and playing mommy to her and Czerton’s 4-month old baby, Toby.
Alicia Rodis (Fight Choreographer) is an actor and fight choreographer that hails from the ever exotic Cleveland, Ohio. She is a proud graduate of the Professional Actor Training Program at Wright State University. Recent combat credits include Young Lou, Big Love, Brigadoon, Venus, and assisting with The Age of Iron at Classic Stage Company. Alicia works with En Garde Entertainment, and is a combat teaching artist with Magical Theater Company. She is a proud member of AEA and The Society of American Fight Directors, and is thrilled to be working in the company of such fiercely strong and fabulous women.
Ashley Rossetti (Stage Manager) is a new arrival in New York City, having graduated with a Bachelors in Theatre from San Diego State University last May. She is very passionate about theatre for young audiences and the importance of introducing art to children early in their lives and so could not be more thrilled to be a part of MSPs current production. Past favorite productions have included Fire and Mist: Stories of Old Town (Old Town Cultural and Historic Program), The Jungle Book (North Coast Repertory Theatre), and A Midsummer Night’s Dream(San Diego State University).
